- Alfresco Heaters are based on Medium wave technology. They convert over 90% of the electricity to radiant heat. Unaffected by wind, radiant energy is only absorbed by people and objects. It does not heat the air.
- Environmentally friendly with no CO2 emissions (as with gas) and no ultra-violet (as with halogen lamps). You also have total control as the heaters are at full capacity within 60 seconds. They can be used with regulators, movement sensors or have one or two elements running with the dual element models. All these features reduce running costs.
- Alfresco Heaters are manufactured from 304 Stainless Steel. Sealed Quartz elements mean the heaters are maintenance free with no moving parts. Elements rated for 6000 hours. With this high quality manufacture the heats are suitable for coastal areas.
- Unlike other gas and electric heaters, Alfresco heaters have very little heat behind the outside casing. This allows mounting close to awnings, glass and combustible materials. In fact the heaters can be recessed into ceilings or verandas.AS/NZS 60335.2 – 30
